　いつものように、「西陣織」のビデオクリップ前後の江口さんとアットキンさんの短いトークをディクテーションしてみた。

・クリップ前
Eguchi: So Stuart, what kind of image do you have of Nishijin-ori?
Atkin: Well, my first experience of Nishijin fabrics with seen in Noh costumes.
　So, I have this image of gorgeous but dignified kimono using golden threads.
　But of course, I also have the image of a very heavy fabric, not really for daily use and very expensive too.
E: Yes, I have the same luxury image.
　But I think you can understand why they cost so much if you see the process in**** making them.
　It requires a lot of skill and takes the craftsmen a tremendous time.
E: Right.

・クリップ後
E: Stuart, any comments on the video clip?
A: Well, it's amazing how many different colors of threads are used.
　And sometimes they can only weave one centimeter per day.
　It makes me want to have some Nishijin-ori product.
E: What would you like?
A: Well, necktie or some nice table coasters, perhaps.
E: That would be nice.
